Euro NCAP has awarded the Mercedes CLA, Peugeot 2008, Suzuki SX4 S-Cross as well as Jeep Cherokee the full five stars in its newest round of safety testing.
The Suzuki SX4 S-Cross carried out particularly well with a score of 92 per cent in the adult occupant test, 80 per cent in kid occupant, 72 per cent in the pedestrian test as well as 81 per cent for safety assist.

While all the automobiles managed great result across all four categories, the Jeep Cherokee suffered on the pedestrian testing with a score of 67 per cent. Euro NCAP was concerned about the edge of the bonnet as well as around the windscreen pillars.
Overall, the scores were  as expected, with the Mercedes CLA always likely to carry out well in the tests thanks to its range of smart safety systems.
Meanwhile, the Peugeot 2008, based on the smaller 208 that was likewise provided the full five stars was always expected to handle the full marks, too.
